ONLINE THERAPY IN SOUTH CAROLINA with room to figure things out

Indie Counseling offers virtual individual therapy for teens, college students, and adults throughout South Carolina. I work with clients navigating anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self esteem, pregnancy and postpartum, and the questions that can come with figuring out who you are and what feels right for you.

MAYBE THIS FEELS FAMILIAR

SOMETHING FEELS a little different lately

Maybe a relationship is changing, you’re stepping into a new season, or you’ve started questioning something you used to feel more certain about. You might be starting college, becoming a parent, navigating shifting relationships, or realizing that the way you’ve always handled things doesn’t quite fit anymore.

Maybe you’re spending more time in your head, second guessing your choices, or making room for everyone else while having a harder time figuring out what you need. Whatever brought you here, therapy can give us space to slow things down, get curious, and make sense of what’s coming up.

For navigating friendships, family, dating, partnerships, boundaries, changing relationships, and the relationship you have with yourself.

For finding your footing through college, young adulthood, pregnancy and postpartum, changing roles, relationships, and other seasons of change.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF

For getting curious about self trust, confidence, identity, expectations, and what feels right for you.

THERAPY FROM WHERE YOU ARE

A SPACE TO SLOW DOWN, even when life keeps moving

Online therapy gives you space to meet from somewhere private and comfortable without adding another place to get to. Whether you’re at home, away at college, or somewhere else in South Carolina, therapy can become a consistent place to slow down and pay attention to what’s coming up.

My approach is person centered, relationship focused, and integrative. I’ll bring curiosity, intuition, questions, and perspective to our conversations while drawing from different therapeutic perspectives and tools when they feel useful. There’s room for the deep stuff, everyday life, humor, and whatever feels important that day.

TEENS

A space to talk about friendships, family, school, identity, confidence, changing relationships, and what it’s like figuring yourself out while so much is changing.

COLLEGE STUDENTS + YOUNG ADULTS

For navigating independence, relationships, big decisions, changing identities, and the sometimes strange experience of figuring out what comes next.

ADULTS

For relationships, transitions, anxiety, parenthood, identity, and the questions that can come up when life looks different than you expected.

A LITTLE ABOUT WHO YOU’LL BE TALKING TO

I’m Brooke May, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the therapist behind Indie Counseling. I’m naturally curious, intuitive, and usually asking a lot of questions. I’m interested in understanding not only what’s happening now, but the relationships, experiences, and patterns that have shaped how you see yourself and move through the world.
